Run Hut Run

June 2018

Travelling fast and light through the heart of the Cederberg mountains, we set off on a loosely planned route for two days of self-supported running with an overnight bivy in one of the historic mountain huts in the area. The weather pulled in perfectly at the end of our first day and we made it to our hut just in time to warm up, drink tea and eat plenty before passing out. We awoke to howling wind and thick fog outside, no time was wasted in setting off again, the snow was incoming and it was time for us to push on!
