A simple circular route of the Cederberg mountains by bicycle. The plan had been on the table for months and finally we had a gap to make it happen; the main challenges became the soaring summer heat and our lack of experience on bicycles. Both ultimately allowed for a beautifully tough but rewarding experience as we didn’t allow ourselves to overthink the details, but rather simply packed our bikes and hit the road.
